MOJAB's 1-1/2" x 30' Heavy Duty Kinetic Recovery Rope is built for the toughest jobs — heavy service trucks, utility vehicles, tow operators, construction equipment, and large commercial fleets. Made from 100% double-braided nylon, it stretches under load to transfer energy smoothly and reduce shock on both vehicles, with a 68,000 lb minimum breaking strength and a conservative 13,600 lb working load limit at a 5:1 safety factor. It comes with a heavy-duty storage bag and abrasion-resistant protective sleeve, backed by MOJAB's no-questions-asked lifetime warranty.

"A prudent person foresees danger ahead and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. - Proverbs 27:12"

— CHARLES, SRO FOUNDER & FORMER LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Stretches to Absorb the Shock

Double-braided nylon stores energy on the pull and releases it into the stuck vehicle, instead of slamming both recovery points

68,000 lb Breaking Strength

Rated for the commercial end of the range, not a trail-weight rope pressed into heavy service

Conservative 5:1 Working Load

13,600 lbs of rated capacity, calculated the way professional riggers expect

The sleeve is what keeps a kinetic rope alive over sharp bumper edges

ARIZONA-BUILT RECOVERY GEAR

Designed and tested in the terrain that breaks recovery gear — by a motorsport engineer who would rather find the weak link himself.

MOJAB Off-Road designs and tests its gear in Arizona, in the rock, sand and heat that expose a weak link faster than any lab. The company is led by founder Mark Mojab, who brings a background in electronic and motorsport engineering from Kingston University and has previously collaborated with industry names including Top Gear Magazine in the UK — and it shows in the detailing on the hardware.

The result is recovery equipment built to be used rather than admired: kinetic ropes, soft shackles, synthetic winch lines, hydraulic jacks and complete kits, all backed by a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty on the rope, strap, shackle and tie-down lines.

About this product
When should I use a kinetic rope rather than a winch?

A kinetic rope needs a second vehicle and room to build momentum, and it works best when the stuck vehicle is not pinned — bogged in sand, mud or snow. It stretches, stores that energy, and releases it as a pull that is smoother than a dead-weight tug. A winch is what you want when you are alone, when there is no run-up, or when the vehicle needs to be moved slowly and precisely. Most well-built rigs carry both.

What is the difference between Working Load Limit and Minimum Breaking Strength?

Minimum Breaking Strength is the load at which the item is expected to fail. Working Load Limit is the load you should actually design around — typically MBS divided by a safety factor, and MOJAB uses a conservative 5:1 on its kinetic ropes. Rig to the Working Load Limit, not the breaking strength. The gap between the two is what absorbs shock loading, worn gear, bad angles and the recovery that does not go the way you planned.

What does MOJAB's lifetime warranty cover?

MOJAB backs its kinetic ropes, recovery straps, soft shackles and tie-downs with a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. Cosmetic finishes — such as the coating on the CarbonPro jacks — are excluded. If a piece of MOJAB recovery gear fails, contact us at info@stayreadyoutdoors.com and we will handle the claim with MOJAB on your behalf.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders process within 1–3 business days from our warehouse. From there: 5–7 business days economy, 2–3 business days expedited, or overnight if you need it fast. Free economy shipping on orders over $150 (contiguous US). Alaska, Hawaii, and Pro Eagle / freight items are quoted at checkout. You’ll get a tracking number and link the moment your order ships.

What’s your return policy?

30 days from the day your order arrives. Gear has to come back unused, with all original tags, stickers, and packaging intact. For standard items we’ll send a prepaid return label and deduct return shipping from your refund. Oversized or freight returns are on you, unless the item showed up damaged, defective, or wrong — in which case we cover it.

Refunds hit your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

What can’t I return?

Final-sale items, gift cards, food and drink products, personal-care items, anything customized or engraved, briefs (hygiene), and hazardous materials. If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, email us before you order — we’ll tell you straight.

Do you ship outside the contiguous US?

Yes. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship on freight-quoted rates calculated after checkout. International orders are available worldwide at variable rates; duties and import fees are the customer’s responsibility. EU customers get a 14-day cancellation window per EU consumer law, on top of our standard return policy.

My package arrived damaged — what now?

Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage (product + packaging). We’ll replace, refund, or ship a return label on us — no back-and-forth. Damaged, defective, or wrong-item claims never cost you shipping.

Can I talk to a human before buying?

Yes. Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com — we answer every message ourselves, usually within a few hours during business days. We carry this gear, we use this gear, and we’d rather talk you out of a kit that doesn’t fit your mission than sell you the wrong one.

Do you offer a military/first-responder discount?

Yes. Active-duty and veteran military, police, fire, EMS, and medical first responders get 10% off every order. Verify through GovX at checkout — one-time, secure, and reusable across thousands of brands. Discount applies automatically once you’re verified.
