About Airway & Breathing

Airway & Breathing Management Gear

Airway compromise is one of the fastest killers in trauma response. The nasopharyngeal airways, chest seals, and breathing aids in this collection are critical tools for first responders, military medics, and prepared civilians trained to handle severe casualties.

What this category covers

  • Nasopharyngeal airways (NPAs) in multiple sizes
  • Oropharyngeal airways (OPAs) for unconscious patients
  • Chest seals — vented and unvented for penetrating chest trauma
  • Bag-valve masks (BVMs) for assisted ventilation
  • Suction devices for clearing airways under stress

Train before you carry

Airway tools are not point-and-deploy gear. NPA insertion, chest-seal placement, and BVM ventilation all require training to perform without making the situation worse. Carry these tools only if you've trained on them — and refresh that training annually.

Where airway fits in trauma response

Airway management follows bleeding control in the MARCH protocol. Pair with Bleeding Control for tourniquets and hemostatics, Trauma First Aid for the full trauma stack, and First Aid Training Equipment for hands-on skill building.

The right tools, in trained hands, save lives.
