Trauma First Aid — Major Injury Response

Trauma first aid covers the major-injury scenarios — bleeding, breathing, shock — where seconds matter. SRO's Trauma First Aid collection covers tourniquets, chest seals, hemostatic gauze, decompression needles, and the full IFAK setups for severe-injury response.

The trauma response stack

NAR CAT tourniquet (Official U.S. Army since 2005). HyFin vented chest seals. Snakestaff ETQ everyday-carry tourniquets. Pair with Bleeding Control and First Aid Guides.

Training matters

Trauma gear is only as useful as the training behind it. A Stop-the-Bleed class doubles the value of every tourniquet and chest seal in your kit. Pair with Books & Guides for reference material.

Minimum trauma kit: one CAT tourniquet + one HyFin chest seal + hemostatic gauze. Three items, under $100, covers the highest-mortality preventable injuries.
