Scout Slimline Preparedness Bracelet
The Scout Slimline is a minimalist paracord bracelet by Superesse Straps LLC, designed for the 3 day hike — every strap carries a removable Fire Steel ferro rod secured inside the buckle, a high pitch pealess emergency whistle, four ranger bands (fire tender and smoke signal, 30 second burn time) and 10-15' of Type III, 550lb paracord with 7 inner nylon strands, for 150-225 feet of total cordage counting the inner strands (unrated, 35lb tensile strength). Superesse also lists a ceramic striker blade and cutting tool "if selected", but none of the options below selects it, so ask us before ordering if you need the blade. Size: Small fits 6.25" to 7" wrists, Medium Tight fits 7" to 7.5", Medium Large fits 7.5" to 8" and Large fits 8" to 8.75". Color sets the paracord color (Gunmetal Gray, Tactical Black, Olive Drab Green, Coyote Brown, Kelly Green, Pineland Gold, Rust Red or Safety Orange) at no additional charge. Supply Core: None is the strap with its external items only and no internal core; Survival Kit adds an internal core of approx. 10ft of 30+lb braided fishing line, 2 Aquatab water purification tablets, a size 8 fish hook, a size 3/0 split shot sinker, 2 strike anywhere matches, a small bandage, a stormproof match, a darner needle, an approx. 5"x5" square of heavy duty aluminum foil and a tinder wick; Emergency Kit adds an internal core of a #12 mini curved surgical carving blade, 1 strike anywhere match, a small bandage, 4 signal markers, 1 Aquatab water purification tablet, a size 8 fish hook, a darner needle, 2 4" zipties, approx. 10ft of 30+lb braided fishing line, a 0.75" black micro safety pin, a 1.75" brass large safety pin and moleskin padding. Signal whistle
The high pitch pealess whistle can signal one blast for "where are you", two for "come here", three for "help me", or 3 short, 3 long, 3 short for SOS.
Survival Kit core
Adds approx. 10ft of 30+lb braided fishing line, a size 8 hook and 3/0 sinker, 2 Aquatab tablets, 2 strike anywhere matches, a stormproof match, a bandage, a darner needle, foil and a tinder wick inside the bracelet.
Emergency Kit core
Adds a #12 carving blade, 1 strike anywhere match, a bandage, 4 signal markers, 1 Aquatab tablet, a hook and fishing line, a darner needle, 2 zipties, 2 safety pins and moleskin padding inside the bracelet.
Paracord you can use
The 10-15' of Type III, 550lb paracord can replace shoestrings, tie down gear, make a bear bag or snare, and its inner strands work as fishing line.

Superesse started in 2014 with Wesley — a US Army Special Operations Command veteran with SERE and unconventional warfare training — making paracord bracelets for his team as a morale boost. The bracelets became wearable survival kits, integrating flashlights, fire-starters, fishing tackle, and whistles into a single strap. Today Superesse is run by Wesley and his wife Diana out of North Carolina near Fort Bragg — still a husband-and-wife shop, still handmade, still built on the assumption that the gear you need most is the gear you happen to be wearing.

Can this be disassembled in the field?
Only the supply core requires it. On Superesse straps ordered with a kit or supply core, the core items are woven inside and you reach them by breaking down the bracelet. Items Superesse lists as external or quick access are used without unraveling. Straps ordered with Supply Core None have no internal core, and the Expeditious Band has no internal supply core.
How is this made and where does it ship from?
Superesse Straps LLC is a veteran and law enforcement owned husband-and-wife shop based in North Carolina near Fort Bragg. Superesse says nearly everything is made in their home and gear is handmade to order in small release batches. Some components come from other makers, named on the product page where Superesse names them. Orders ship directly from Superesse, so delivery can take longer than items SRO stocks.
How long does shipping take?
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, not counting weekends and federal holidays. Special-order, dealer-direct, custom, and LYNX Survival Systems orders can take longer. Lead times shown on product pages are estimates, not guarantees.
Typical carrier transit after that: Economy 5 to 7 business days, Expedited 2 to 3, Overnight 1. These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Some items, such as lithium batteries, aerosols, and safety matches, may be limited to ground shipping.
Free Economy shipping on qualifying orders over $150 to the contiguous US, on eligible products. Oversized, heavy, freight, hazardous-material, dealer-direct, custom-built, and special-order items may be excluded. Oversized and freight items, such as rooftop tents, recovery equipment, and Pro Eagle products, may carry extra shipping charges. If extra charges apply, we'll let you know before the order ships.
Some items ship directly from the manufacturer or a supplier partner on their own schedule, so an order can arrive in more than one package with more than one tracking number. Full details: Shipping Policy.
What’s your return policy?
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return on eligible items. Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com with your order number, the item, and the reason, and wait for return authorization before you ship anything back. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
Items must come back in like-new condition: unused, unmodified, unworn, unwashed, and free of odors, dirt, stains, pet hair, and damage, with all original packaging, manuals, accessories, and tags, plus proof of purchase.
For standard parcel items, you pay return shipping unless the return is due to our error, shipping damage, or a verified defect. If we provide a prepaid label, its cost may be deducted from your refund. For oversized, freight, dealer-direct, and special-order items, you pay return shipping unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping charges aren't refunded. Some items may carry a restocking fee of up to 15%, and we'll tell you during authorization.
Some items are fulfilled by third-party suppliers and follow that supplier's return policy, so eligibility, refund timing, return shipping, and restocking fees may differ.
Approved refunds go to your original payment method. Allow up to 10 business days after approval, and your bank may take longer to post it. Full details: Return & Refund Policy.
What can’t I return?
These can't be returned or refunded, except where the law requires it:
- Engraved, personalized, customized, and built-to-order products, and special-order products obtained specifically for you
- LYNX Survival Systems survival kits, custom IFAKs, and custom medical kits
- Agency, government, organizational, and contract-built orders
- Gift cards, and sale or clearance items marked final sale
- Food, drink, and other perishable products, including emergency food
- Personal care, hygiene, and beauty products
- Hazardous materials, and flammable liquids or gases
- Opened or used medical products
- Opened water treatment or purification products with broken factory seals
- Anything marked non-returnable on its product page
For built-to-order, custom, and special-order items, exceptions may be made only for verified manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors. For food and drink, replacements may be issued only for verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage reported within 5 days of delivery, with photos.

Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. territories aren't eligible for free shipping, and extra freight charges may apply. If your order needs a shipping quote, we'll contact you before it ships. If you decline the quote, the order may be canceled and refunded. APO/FPO addresses are also excluded from free shipping.
International shipping is available on select products and destinations, and some products may be restricted from international shipping. You're responsible for import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and meeting your country's import rules.

My package arrived damaged. What now?
Inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or wrong, email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days of delivery (5 days for food and drink) with your order number, a short description, and photos of the item and the packaging.
You don't pay return shipping on items that arrived damaged or wrong, or with a verified defect. Some items fulfilled by third-party suppliers follow that supplier's policy instead. Reporting after 7 days may limit our ability to pursue a claim with the carrier, and while we may help with a carrier claim, approval is up to the carrier.
Package lost or never arrived? Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date. For freight deliveries, inspect the shipment before you sign and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
