Grim Workshop started on a folding table at a Texas farmers market, where the founders — a tradesman, a knife maker, an artist, a rancher, a farmer, and a mother — tested prototype EDC tools with neighbors before scaling. A decade later, every steel tool is still designed on a 5th-generation Texas homestead and built in the USA in small batches.

The flatpack philosophy

Most tools live in a pocket or wallet. Grim Workshop's micro tools come in at roughly 1mm thick — survival cards, dog-tag micro tools, fishing kits, edible plant references, miniature signal devices.
