Battle Cord — Heavy-Duty Tactical Cordage
Heavy-strand battle cord for demanding load-bearing field applications. When standard 550 paracord isn't enough for the job — bridge ropes, snare anchors, heavy gear hoists — battle cord delivers ratings that handle real loads.
Battle cord vs. standard paracord
550 paracord is rated to roughly 550 pounds of tensile strength. Battle cord (and similar heavy-strand cordages) typically run 1,000–2,500 pounds — enough for vehicle-recovery applications, serious load hoisting, and the structural lashing where lighter cord would fail.
Pair with the cordage system
Battle cord works alongside lighter cord for the full range of applications. See Paracord for 550 standard, Cordage for the broader category, Micro/Nano Cord for smaller-diameter line, and Ropes & Straps for heavier-load options.
Heavy-rated cord. Real loads. Where 550 stops being enough.
