This kit is as about as complete as you can get for a compact kit. The quality of the gear is top notch. It has well know reputable brands that have been in the industry for many years. With that being said, I have customized my kit to fit my needs ans wants a little more. I added a mini sharpie and a small zip lock full of band-aids and travel meds to add to the medical side of the kit. I added the ESEE mini kit and pouch to the knife. I also took out a couple of the Sawyer bags for whirlpak stand up bags, water purification tablets and a Grayl Ultrapress. I've attached a few pictures of the things I've added.

Got my Founders Tier kit in and couldn’t be happier with it. The quality of the gear is excellent, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. It’s not a budget kit—and it shows. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something that’s ready to go out of the box. I did add some boo boo items and meds to the fak and a Leatherman and a millennium food bar to the main bag but other than that it’s spot on.

The Lynx survival kit has everything you need for an emergency or unexpected situations in the outdoors. It contains a wide range of critical items and gear while still being well organized and compact. I have put many of the tools to the test already and am impressed by the quality. You never know what circumstances you’ll end up in during a backpacking or camping trip or even just while out driving. This kit is a great investment!

I found the quality of the gear to be superior to many of the pre-packed backs available on the market today. I knew it was going to be good but I didn’t realize how good. All components are top notch and of the best quality. Will be my all purpose survival kit for aviation, 4 wheeling and boating. Hopefully will never have to use it but I know if I do I will be more comfortable and prepared to make it through.

Where are the products that are include in each bag made
Hello Jim! The components in the kit are sourced from a multitude of suppliers and thus come from different countries of origin. Several are made here in the US, others in Vietnam, Japan, Switzerland, China, etc.

How is this Go-Bag different from cheap survival kits?
OPERIS is built only with premium, brand-name gear. No filler, no knockoffs — just proven equipment trusted by professionals.
Can I customize my Go-Bag?
Yes. Kits are modular. We can swap gear or build custom agency loadouts. RFQs accepted.
How long until my order ships?
Every bag is hand-built. Allow 14 business days before shipping. Ground shipping only.
Is this a complete survival solution?
No kit is one-size-fits-all. OPERIS gives you the professional-grade backbone (med, water, fire, shelter, nav, tools). Add your personal essentials (medications, eyewear, seasonal clothing, pet/infant items, documents).
How long does shipping take?
Most orders process within 1–3 business days from our warehouse. From there: 5–7 business days economy, 2–3 business days expedited, or overnight if you need it fast. Free economy shipping on orders over $150 (contiguous US). Alaska, Hawaii, and Pro Eagle / freight items are quoted at checkout. You’ll get a tracking number and link the moment your order ships.
What’s your return policy?
30 days from the day your order arrives. Gear has to come back unused, with all original tags, stickers, and packaging intact. For standard items we’ll send a prepaid return label and deduct return shipping from your refund. Oversized or freight returns are on you, unless the item showed up damaged, defective, or wrong — in which case we cover it.
Refunds hit your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
What can’t I return?
Final-sale items, gift cards, food and drink products, personal-care items, anything customized or engraved, briefs (hygiene), and hazardous materials. If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, email us before you order — we’ll tell you straight.
Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Yes. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship on freight-quoted rates calculated after checkout. International orders are available worldwide at variable rates; duties and import fees are the customer’s responsibility. EU customers get a 14-day cancellation window per EU consumer law, on top of our standard return policy.
My package arrived damaged — what now?
Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage (product + packaging). We’ll replace, refund, or ship a return label on us — no back-and-forth. Damaged, defective, or wrong-item claims never cost you shipping.
Can I talk to a human before buying?
Yes. Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com — we answer every message ourselves, usually within a few hours during business days. We carry this gear, we use this gear, and we’d rather talk you out of a kit that doesn’t fit your mission than sell you the wrong one.
