At Stay Ready Outdoors, we stand behind the quality of the products we sell and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review the policy below.
RETURNS
We offer a 30-day return window on eligible products. To be eligible for a return, you must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and obtain return authorization prior to shipping the item back.
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for a return, items must be received by Stay Ready Outdoors in like-new condition and must meet all of the following requirements:
• Unused and unmodified
• Unworn and unwashed
• Free of odors including smoke, perfume, cologne, or other scents
• Free of dirt, stains, pet hair, damage, or excessive handling
• Include all original packaging, manuals, accessories, inserts, tags, stickers, and components
• Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Stay Ready Outdoors reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise and determine whether the item meets return eligibility requirements.
Items returned in a condition different from that described during the return authorization process may be subject to a reduced refund or denial of refund.
HOW TO START A RETURN

If approved, return instructions will be provided.
Items shipped back without prior authorization may be refused and returned to sender.
RETURN SHIPPING
For standard parcel items:
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error, shipping damage, or a verified product defect.
• If a prepaid return label is provided by Stay Ready Outdoors, the cost of the label may be deducted from the refund amount.
For oversized, freight, dealer-direct, or special-order products:
• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
• Freight returns may require special packaging, carrier scheduling, and coordination with Stay Ready Outdoors.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring products are properly packaged for return shipment.
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
RESTOCKING FEES
Certain products may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price.
Products that may be subject to a restocking fee include, but are not limited to:
• Oversized products
• Freight-shipped products
• Rooftop tents
• Recovery equipment
• Dealer-direct products
• Special-order products
• Products requiring inspection, repackaging, or refurbishment prior to resale
Restocking fees are intended to offset administrative costs, payment processing fees, inspection, handling, repackaging, inventory management, and other costs associated with processing a return.
Any applicable restocking fee will be communicated during the return authorization process.
Stay Ready Outdoors reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies for a restocking fee.
OVERSIZED AND FREIGHT ITEM RETURNS
Certain products require special handling due to their size, weight, shipping method, or supplier requirements.
This may include:
• Rooftop tents
• Vehicle-mounted equipment
• Large recovery gear
• Freight-shipped products
• Other oversized products
Additional requirements may apply to these returns.
Returned freight items must be received in new, unused condition with original packaging and all included components.
Failure to properly package a return may result in reduced refunds or denial of the return claim.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact info@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide:
• Order number
• Description of the issue
• Photographs showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item
Failure to report shipping damage within 7 days may limit our ability to pursue claims with carriers.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following products are non-returnable and non-refundable except where required by law:
• Engraved products
• Personalized products
• Customized products
• Built-to-order products
• Special-order products obtained specifically for a customer
• LYNX Survival Systems survival kits
• Custom medical kits
• Agency, government, organizational, or contract-built orders
• Gift cards
• Sale or clearance items marked as final sale
• Perishable products
• Food products
• Drink products
• Personal care products
• Hygiene products
• Beauty products
• Hazardous materials
• Flammable liquids
• Flammable gases
• Opened medical products
• Used medical products
• Opened emergency food products
• Opened water treatment or purification products where factory seals have been broken
• Products specifically marked as non-returnable on the product page
BUILT-TO-ORDER, CUSTOM, AND SPECIAL-ORDER PRODUCTS
Many products offered by Stay Ready Outdoors and LYNX Survival Systems are assembled, configured, sourced, customized, or procured specifically for individual customers.
These products are considered built-to-order, custom, or special-order products.
Such products become non-returnable and non-refundable once assembly, customization, procurement, sourcing, or production has begun.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• LYNX Survival Systems kits
• Custom IFAKs
• Custom medical kits
• Agency and organizational orders
• Procurement projects
• Engraved products
• Vendor special orders
Exceptions may be made solely for verified manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or fulfillment errors.
FOOD AND DRINK PRODUCTS
Due to food safety, storage, handling, and product integrity requirements, all food and drink sales are final.
Returns, exchanges, and cancellations are not accepted for food or drink products.
Replacement products may be issued only in cases of verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage reported within 5 days of delivery and supported by photographs.
SHOPIFY COLLECTIVE PRODUCTS
Certain products sold through Stay Ready Outdoors are fulfilled by third-party suppliers through Shopify Collective.
These products remain subject to the originating supplier's policies.
Return eligibility, exchange eligibility, refund timing, shipping responsibility, restocking fees, and warranty support may vary by supplier.
Stay Ready Outdoors may assist in facilitating communication with the originating supplier but does not control or override supplier return policies.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to obtain a different item is to return the original item, if eligible, and place a new order separately.
REFUNDS
Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or denial of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Refunds may be reduced by:
• Return shipping charges
• Applicable restocking fees
• Missing components
• Damage caused after delivery
• Excessive wear or use
Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for refund processing.
Financial institutions may require additional time to post refunded funds.
If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of approval, contact info@stayreadyoutdoors.com.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Stay Ready Outdoors reserves the right to deny any return, exchange, refund, or warranty claim that does not comply with the requirements outlined in this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
