WLL: 18540 LBS

MBS: 55600 LBS

The MOJAB Long Reach Soft Shackle is engineered for off-road recovery situations where a standard-length soft shackle simply can’t reach. With an extended 35-inch length, it provides greater flexibility when rigging around axles, frames, bumpers, roll cages, recovery points, and other large or difficult-to-access attachment areas.

Constructed from high-strength synthetic fiber, each 1/2" x 35" shackle delivers an impressive 18,540 lb Working Load Limit (WLL) and 55,600 lb Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) while remaining lightweight and easy to handle on the trail.

The extended design of the Long Reach Soft Shackle makes recovery setup easier when additional reach is needed. Unlike traditional steel shackles, there are no heavy metal pins to thread, drop, or lose. The flexible synthetic construction also helps make rigging faster and more versatile while reducing unnecessary weight in your recovery kit.

Each shackle features a high-quality red protective sleeve designed to help protect the synthetic fibers against abrasion, dirt, and trail damage at critical contact points.

This package includes two MOJAB LongReach™ 1/2" x 35" Soft Shackles, giving you a dependable pair for demanding off-road recovery situations. Whether you're upgrading your current recovery gear or building a complete trail kit, the Long Reach Soft Shackle delivers the strength, extended reach, and versatility you need when standard recovery connections aren't long enough.

About this product
Why use a soft shackle instead of a steel D-ring?

Two reasons. Weight — a synthetic shackle at the same rating is a fraction of the mass, so you will actually carry it. And failure behaviour — if a steel shackle or its pin lets go under load, you have a heavy piece of metal moving at speed toward whoever is standing nearby. A soft shackle drops. Steel still has its place on a hitch receiver or where abrasion is constant, but for vehicle-to-vehicle recovery, synthetic is the safer connection.

What is the difference between Working Load Limit and Minimum Breaking Strength?

Minimum Breaking Strength is the load at which the item is expected to fail. Working Load Limit is the load you should actually design around — typically MBS divided by a safety factor, and MOJAB uses a conservative 5:1 on its kinetic ropes. Rig to the Working Load Limit, not the breaking strength. The gap between the two is what absorbs shock loading, worn gear, bad angles and the recovery that does not go the way you planned.

How do I know when to retire a soft shackle?

Inspect before every use. Retire it if you find cut or severed fibres, glazing or a hard shiny patch from heat, significant fuzzing beyond normal surface wear, or any deformation at the knot or eye. Synthetic fibre gives very little warning before it fails, so the inspection is the warning. Replace the protective sleeve when it wears through rather than letting the load-bearing fibre take the abrasion.

What does MOJAB's lifetime warranty cover?

MOJAB backs its kinetic ropes, recovery straps, soft shackles and tie-downs with a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. Cosmetic finishes — such as the coating on the CarbonPro jacks — are excluded. If a piece of MOJAB recovery gear fails, contact us at info@stayreadyoutdoors.com and we will handle the claim with MOJAB on your behalf.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders process within 1–3 business days from our warehouse. From there: 5–7 business days economy, 2–3 business days expedited, or overnight if you need it fast. Free economy shipping on orders over $150 (contiguous US). Alaska, Hawaii, and Pro Eagle / freight items are quoted at checkout. You’ll get a tracking number and link the moment your order ships.

What’s your return policy?

30 days from the day your order arrives. Gear has to come back unused, with all original tags, stickers, and packaging intact. For standard items we’ll send a prepaid return label and deduct return shipping from your refund. Oversized or freight returns are on you, unless the item showed up damaged, defective, or wrong — in which case we cover it.

Refunds hit your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

What can’t I return?

Final-sale items, gift cards, food and drink products, personal-care items, anything customized or engraved, briefs (hygiene), and hazardous materials. If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, email us before you order — we’ll tell you straight.

Do you ship outside the contiguous US?

Yes. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories ship on freight-quoted rates calculated after checkout. International orders are available worldwide at variable rates; duties and import fees are the customer’s responsibility. EU customers get a 14-day cancellation window per EU consumer law, on top of our standard return policy.

My package arrived damaged — what now?

Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage (product + packaging). We’ll replace, refund, or ship a return label on us — no back-and-forth. Damaged, defective, or wrong-item claims never cost you shipping.

Can I talk to a human before buying?

Yes. Email info@stayreadyoutdoors.com — we answer every message ourselves, usually within a few hours during business days. We carry this gear, we use this gear, and we’d rather talk you out of a kit that doesn’t fit your mission than sell you the wrong one.

Do you offer a military/first-responder discount?

Yes. Active-duty and veteran military, police, fire, EMS, and medical first responders get 10% off every order. Verify through GovX at checkout — one-time, secure, and reusable across thousands of brands. Discount applies automatically once you’re verified.
