Tornado safety: where to shelter and what to keep there

When a tornado warning sounds, go now to a basement, storm cellar or a small room without windows on the lowest floor, and cover your head. A watch means tornadoes are possible; a warning means one has been seen or picked up on radar. Mobile homes and cars aren't safe places to ride one out.
