Superesse Straps — Survival Gear Hidden in a Morale Patch
Superesse Straps is a husband-and-wife operation outside Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Wesley — a U.S. Army Special Operations Command veteran with SERE and unconventional-warfare training — started in 2014 making paracord bracelets that hid working survival kit inside. Today every patch, strap, and pouch they produce is built on that same principle: the gear you need most is the gear you're wearing.
Hidden-compartment patches
The flagship is the Velcro morale patch with a laser-cut slit and an internal storage pocket. Each model carries a printed reference (foraging guide, Morse + tap code, marksmanship fundamentals, stop-the-bleed protocols) AND an internal pocket sized for bandages, razor, tinder, signal whistle, or printed contact card. See the full patches collection for variants.
Paracord with substance
Superesse paracord bracelets and straps aren't just woven cord. Many models integrate flashlights, fire-starting flint, fishing tackle, and rescue whistles into the build. The Survival Patch line takes that a step further — fully kitted micro EDC inside a wearable square. SERE-grade utility on your jacket sleeve or daypack strap.
Pair with the broader EDC kit
Superesse fits anywhere you can attach hook-and-loop — packs, plate carriers, hats, jackets. Layer it with Every Day Carry gear, survival tools, and fire-starting supplies for a complete wearable kit. Veteran-owned, hand-built, and proudly American-made.
If you're new to the brand, start with a Stop Bleed & CPR patch or a Foraging Guide — both serve as functional reference AND wearable kit. Once you see how it works, the rest of the line fits naturally into how you already carry.
