The wick included with the titanLIGHT™ should last a very long time if maintained properly.  When the wick looks worn or wispy simply pull more wick out from the top and trim with a sharp pair of scissors.  If the wick binds, you may need to remove the fuel cap and the cotton to free the wick enough to pull through.  Once you've achieved the proper length (top of the flameguard), fold the wick over between layers of cotton balls and replace the fuel cap.

HOW TO REPLACE:

Replacing the wick requires patience and a sharp pair of scissors. 

  1. Remove the flame guard by pressing out the brass pin while holding the guard down. 
  2. Remove cotton from inside body of lighter (use a few paper towels to absorb extra lighter fluid). 
  3. Pull old wick out. 
  4. If necessary, clean wick hole with alcohol with a cotton swab. 
  5. Trim the end of the new wick at a 45 degree angle with a sharp pair of scissors. 
  6. Wet the cut end of the wick with alcohol or a small amount of water. 
  7. While holding the cut end, pull on the opposite end of the wick to stretch it and reduce its cross-section. 
  8. Insert new wick from the outside through the top of the lighter while being careful not to fray it. 
  9. After wick is started into the hole, slowly guide it in in very small increments always supporting the wick with your fingers as it enters the hole.  If it does fray, trim wick and start over. 
  10. Once you can see the wick inside the fuel cavity, grab it with a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers and pull it through.  Leave approximately 1" protruding from the top of the titanLIGHT™ to be trimmed later.
  11. When replacing the cotton, you'll want to fold the wick over into the cotton to create "layers" until you get to the opening of the fuel cavity.  this maximizes the wicks surface area on the cotton so it can absorb the fuel.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.


Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be unworn or unused, with original tags intact

  • Be in its original packaging, including all accessories

  • Include proof of purchase (receipt or order number)


How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, email us at crquarto@stayreadyoutdoors.com with your order details. Once approved, you’ll receive return instructions and a prepaid shipping label.

Important: Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at crquarto@stayreadyoutdoors.com within 7 days so we can evaluate and resolve the issue promptly.


Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

Some items are non-returnable, including:

Augason Farms Products – All Sales Final

Due to the nature of long-term food storage, all sales on Augason Farms products are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on Augason Farms products for any reason including:

  • Incorrect order

  • Change of mind

  • Shipping delays

Replacements will only be issued in the event of:

  • A verified manufacturing defect, or

  • Shipping damage, which must be reported within 5 days of delivery with supporting photo documentation

Pre-Orders

As of 02/07/2025, we no longer offer refunds on pre-orders.

Pre-orders placed before this date are eligible for refunds under this policy.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to initiate a return and, once accepted, place a new order for the item you want.


European Union Customers – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order was shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery, for any reason.

To be eligible:

  • Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging

  • Must include proof of purchase


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. If approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please Note:

  • It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

  • If you haven’t received your refund within 15 business days of approval, contact us at crquarto@stayreadyoutdoors.com.
